Terramar – Japandi-Inspired Airbnb Retreat in Puerto Vallarta
Terramar is a project that holds a special place in my heart. Designed for Airbnb in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the goal was to create a space where guests immediately feel at home, surrounded by calm, balance, and beauty.

Japandi Harmony: A Serene Blend of Minimalism and Warmth

The inspiration came from the Japandi aesthetic—a blend of Japanese minimalism and Scandinavian warmth. The result is a retreat defined by earthy tones, natural textures, and thoughtful simplicity, making it both serene and inviting.

Terramar: Where Nature and Tranquility Meet

Every corner of Terramar was designed to encourage relaxation and connection with nature. Wide windows frame breathtaking mountain views that flow into the lush mangrove landscape, while interiors use warm woods, soft linens, and organic materials to ground the experience.

More Than a Stay, a Home Away

Since opening, Terramar has been fully booked year-round, a testament to the sense of comfort and home it provides to travelers. Guests don’t just stay here—they live, rest, and rejuvenate in a space crafted with care.

A Home Away from Home

This project embodies the idea that a well-designed Airbnb should feel less like a rental and more like a home away from home, where every detail contributes to an unforgettable experience.
