About Me
Since I was a child, imagination was my favorite playground. I remember lying in bed, looking up at the ceiling and picturing skylights that would open to the stars. I’d rearrange my room in my mind—moving the bed, changing the drapes, inventing new configurations that weren’t always practical, but always full of possibility. Creativity was simply part of me, and thinking outside the box came naturally long before I ever knew the words for it.
As I grew, that habit never faded. Whenever I entered a space, my mind instantly began to “render” possibilities—what could shift, how the light might change, what atmosphere might emerge. That instinct guided me into the world of interior design, where I’ve now worked for more than 14 years.

My Philosophy

People often ask me what my style is. The truth is, I don’t believe in imposing one. Every home, every building, every person has a story to tell, and my role is to listen, guide, and bring that vision to life. For me, a good designer isn’t someone who stamps a signature look on every project—it’s someone who adapts, who embraces the challenge of working in different styles, and who knows how to balance beauty with function. Design is not about me—it’s about creating spaces where others feel at home, at ease, and inspired.

My Studio
That philosophy is the heart of Ment’ Interior Design Co., the studio I founded five years ago here in British Columbia. Ment was born out of a desire to blend creativity with empathy—to design spaces that reflect not just trends, but the people who live and work in them. With over 14 years in the industry, I bring both creative vision and technical knowledge to each project, whether it’s residential or commercial. From cabinetry design and material specifications to full-scale renovations and custom furniture selections, my team and I approach every project with the same dedication: listening first, imagining freely, and delivering thoughtfully. Ment’ may be young, but it is rooted in experience, passion, and a deep belief that great design comes from collaboration and trust.
