Luxury Interior Design In Vancouver, BC
Luxury interior design isn’t a finish level: it’s a discipline. The materials are quieter and harder to source. The custom millwork takes longer because it’s drawn rather than ordered. The lighting is layered, not specified from a catalog.
Considered. Crafted. Built to Last.
The furniture is chosen for how it will read in twenty years, not how it looks in a showroom this season.
For custom home projects, we work from the architectural drawings forward: coordinating with your architect, builder, and trades to make sure the interior reflects the same level of intention as the structure. For existing residences, we take the home as it stands and design within it, often combining renovation guidance with bespoke specification. And for clients who want experienced eyes on a project but already have a team in place, we offer a design consultation engagement: advisory-only, drawn from the same depth of judgment, without the full execution commitment.

What's the difference between a design consultation and a full design engagement?
A consultation is advisory. We review your plans, finishes, or specific design questions and deliver written recommendations or a working session. We don’t source, procure, or manage install. A full engagement is end-to-end: concept through final styling. Consultations are typically a fraction of the cost and time of full engagements. They suit clients with a builder or architect already in place who want experienced input on specific decisions.
How does the design consultation engagement work?
After the discovery call, we agree on scope: for example: a finishes review for an in-progress build, a layout review for a new construction, or a single-room design direction. We hold a working session (in-person or virtual) and deliver written notes or a brief. Most consultations are completed within 2–4 weeks. Pricing is quoted per engagement based on scope.
Can a consultation lead to a full engagement later?
Yes, and it often does. The consultation fee is treated as a credit against the full engagement fee if you choose to bring us on for the broader project. The consultation is a paid engagement in its own right, and it gives both sides a way to test the working relationship before a larger scope. You can request a site visit for a proper estimate.
What defines a "luxury" interior design project?
Custom or bespoke specification, materials sourced through trade channels (not retail), custom millwork drawn rather than ordered, commissioned furniture and art where the project calls for it, and a level of intention that survives in the home for decades. The dollar figure is a result, not the definition.
How long does a luxury custom home project take?
Most custom home interior projects run 8–18 months from kickoff to install, with the longest items (custom millwork, commissioned furniture, art) often setting the timeline. We map long-lead items against your build schedule early so nothing arrives late. We recommend to book a consultation for a proper estimate .
Do you coordinate with our general contractor?
Yes. Once construction starts, we attend site meetings, review submittals (shop drawings, finish samples, fixture cuts), respond to RFIs, and manage scope-related change orders. You always have the GC contract and final approval. We sit on the design side of the table.
