Colour consultation · Metro Vancouver
Colour consultation for homes across Metro Vancouver
Colour behaves differently in every room. North light in a Vancouver winter drains warmth out of a paint that looked right in the store, and a south-facing wall will push a soft grey green for eight months of the year. A colour consultation tests the palette where it is going to live.
A palette that works in your light
We work through the rooms in sequence so the house reads as one scheme rather than a set of decisions made separately. You leave with named products, finishes and sheen levels, and a plan for which surfaces get what.

Our colour consultation process
01 Inquiry
Fill out our inquiry form describing your space, timeline, and what you’d like to change. The form feeds directly into our project management system.
02 Discovery Call
A 15-minute call where we learn about your project and confirm we’re the right fit. Honest, direct, and focused on whether we can help.
03 Personal Site Visit
Our team personally conducts the first site walkthrough. We see how the rooms function, where the light falls, what’s working, and what isn’t.
04 Proposal
Once we complete the walkthrough and agree on the details, we will send you a custom-written proposal with scope, timeline, and investment.
05 Design & Specification
We develop your decorating concept: colour palettes, material specs, furniture and finish selections, all documented before sourcing begins.
06 Contractor Selection
We present our trusted contractor network and help you compare quotes. You always make the final decision. We simply guide you with the expertise to choose wisely.
07 Project Execution & Reveal
We oversee the build, coordinate deliveries, manage timelines, and handle the details, so on reveal day, you walk into a home that exceeds everything you imagined.

Ask about your areaFrequently asked questions
What happens in a colour consultation?
We walk the rooms, look at the light through the day, and work from what is staying: flooring, cabinetry, stone, furniture. You get a resolved palette with specific product names and sheen levels rather than a mood board.
Do you use one paint brand?
No. We specify from whichever line suits the surface and the budget, and we note the equivalents so your painter can source locally.
Can you do a colour consultation for one room?
Yes, though a single room is worth checking against the rooms it opens onto. Sightlines between spaces are where palettes usually come apart.
Do you provide samples?
We specify what to sample and where to place it. Large samples viewed on the actual wall at different times of day are the only reliable test.
How is this different from full interior design?
A colour consultation is advisory and covers palette and finishes. Full design covers layout, millwork, lighting, furniture and procurement. Many clients start here and move on.
